The Copperas Cove Economic Development Corporation provides assistance to companies expanding or relocating to Copperas Cove. Incentives are based on the Company's financial reports, the projected increased taxable value of the building and equipment, and the estimate of the number of employees required to operate the business.

In addition to proactively recruiting business and industrial companies to locate to Copperas Cove, the EDC provides small businesses with the practical assistance needed to survive, grow and prosper with free services provided by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Business Information Center (BIC.)

The SBDC assists small business in solving problems or taking advantage of opportunities in all areas of business endeavors, with free counseling, seminars, and workshops in key business areas, including operations, personnel, marketing, finance, accounting, and more.

The BIC is located inside the offices of the CCEDC. The BIC is a reference facility with computerized counseling stations, a resource library of leading business publications, training and computer access with Internet capabilities.
